Position Overview

Isobar is seeking an Account Executive to join our dynamic team. The Account Executive is responsible for managing and leading digital creative work for our clients by identifying the approach and immediate direction for the account based on the input of internal stakeholders. To be successful, Account Executives must demonstrate astute thinking that reflects the clients’ objectives, an aptitude for written and verbal communications, and attention to detail. 

At Isobar, we expect all our Account Executives to work independently, be resourceful, excel in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail. Account Execs must produce high‐quality, client‐ready deliverables, while juggling multiple deliverables and/or projects at the same time.


Digital Marketing

  • Applies basic knowledge of client business, business economics, customer insights, marketing strategy/channels and competitive analysis
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of core digital channels, including online advertising
  • Applies understanding of overall project (or program) strategy, objectives and measures of success to day-to-day work
  • Assists in defining creative briefs 

Project Management

  • Can manage multiple lanes of work at the same time, ensuring execution is flawless and within scope
  • Can communicate project details to internal teams and can help facilitate communication between multiple groups (creative, project management, client)
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with other agency partners and vendors—especially media agencies
  • Acts as the "go to" internal lead with media and production teams
  • Participates in the development of strategic communications plans that align issues, strategies and tactics
  • Interfaces with the team to ensure all work is delivered on time and accurately
  • Works with the analytics team to develop testing plans and to communicate metrics


  • Can manage multiple lanes of work at the same time, ensuring execution is flawless and on-time
  • Able to manage all aspects of the brand, including briefing the Lead Account Executive, Account Manager or Account Director on key happenings and issues
  • Acts as a "go to" internal point person with media and production teams
  • Actively listens to clients and internal team members, asking key questions to ensure clarity
  • Coordinates internal and client reviews, and provides team with proper materials and documentation as necessary

Client Relations

  • Becomes a trusted resource to our clients
  • Helps manage client expectations around budgets and schedules in partnership with senior team members
  • Understands the client’s business and industry/marketplace in order to anticipate digital needs
  • Demonstrates passion for the client's brand
  • Documents client feedback accurately
  • Ensures work is client-ready by paying close attention to detail
  • Communicates both good and bad news effectively
  • Escalates issues appropriately, professionally and with good judgment
  • Writes well-conceived, client-ready decks with guidance from a lead or manager level
  • Appropriately represents the client perspective with internal teams
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends, developments and opportunities
  • Instills confidence in clients for excellence of agency resources and output 

Required Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years in an advertising/agency environment in account management or a similar role; we are also open to recent graduates with a major in Communications/Advertising/Marketing 
  • Digital marketing experience and knowledge and preferably with experience delivering display advertising campaigns
  • Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and client relationship-building skills
  • Must be a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills that motivate good thinking and encourage cooperation and enthusiasm
  • Committed to delivering creative solutions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt to change
  • High-level proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and/or Keynote, Excel and Outlook
  • Good sense of humor, including not taking one’s self too seriously
