Systems Administrator

Job Summary

As a System Administrator at Isobar US you will be a part of the team focused on supporting on-premise and cloud technology for the organization. You will perform root cause analysis to recover from service interruptions, support and improve existing infrastructure and enterprise applications and work on projects to implement and new technology. You will also work closely with the Desktop Support team for escalations that require in depth knowledge of implemented technology and your superior troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provision, maintain and troubleshoot virtual and physical resources
  • Active Directory and SSO management
  • Management and implementation of enterprise applications including collaboration tools, email and telecommunications
  • Work with configuration management, software distribution and patch management systems
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team
  • Work on M&A projects to successfully integrate systems and processes
  • Work with end-users, peers, developers and the leadership team to ensure issues resolution and meet project expectations
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Demonstrates leadership skills to mentor non-technical staff on day to day basis
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to produce high quality documentation on system specifications and architecture
  • Proficiency Windows and Linux based server operating systems
  • Experience supporting Mac OS operating system
  • Knowledge of network and information security principles – subnetting, switching, ARP/DHCP/DNS, security best practices
  • Knowledge of Atlassian applications – Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo
  • Basic Exchange email management and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting VMWare ESXi / vSphere
  • Knowledge of image and software deployment tools/processes for Mac and PC workstations
  • Experience with managing virtual machines in the cloud and on-premise
  • Knowledge of storage technologies – SAN, NAS, iSCSI, RAID, etc.
  • Active Directory and Domain controller management
  • Knowledge of web server technologies – Apache, IIS
