Talent Acquisition Coordinator / Recruiting Associate

Position Description

Isobar is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or Recruiting Associate to support our team’s effort to bring the very best talent on board. In this role, you will interact with a wide range of employees across disciplines and levels. This position will play a critical role in ensuring our recruitment processes run smoothly and effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Talent Acquisition Director. While Isobar has offices in various cities, this position will ideally be based out of Chicago.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support for the full life cycle recruiting process
  • Coordinate and schedule a high volume of phone, on-site and video conference interviews for candidates and internal stakeholders with speed and efficiency
  • Work closely with the recruiting team and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and support recruitment process
  • Ensure timely and accurate input and updates of applicant data in our Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite) to maintain candidate status and data integrity
  • Create and report on various recruitment metrics
  • Post and update all job postings on job boards and career sites
  • Maintain an organized and current library of job descriptions across all disciplines
  • Bring professionalism and a mentality of customer service while acting as a liaison between hiring managers, candidates, and recruiters
  • Assist with planning and coordinating recruitment events such as campus recruiting efforts, job fairs, etc.
  • Conduct recruiting orientation for all new hires
  • Facilitate on-site interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Recruiters on ad-hoc projects
  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally within Talent Acquisition, Human Resources Administrative roles, Project Management or another highly transferable area
  • Prior experience in an advertising/marketing agency environment is a big plus
  • Prior experience scheduling meetings/interviews across the calendars of multiple participants
  • Highly organized multi-tasker with keen and consistent attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude with a genuine desire to be a resource to all stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A passion for recruiting and people operations with the desire to grow within the field
  • Prior applicant tracking system experience is a plus (particularly Jobvite or SmartRecruiter)
  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Marketing/Communications, Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology
