Position Description

 
A global, digital transformation agency is seeking an enthusiastic Staffing Manager to play an integral role in managing and supporting all internal resource management operations across the agency. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Finance, HR, Recruiting and Business teams to support the company’s utilization goals by identifying and maximizing staff allocation of available resources. 


Responsibilities 
  • Oversee resource planning process to appropriately balance supply/demand across Isobar:
    • Workforce sizing/mix/composition according to types of work
    • Recruiting
    • Promotion requirements
    • Skill requirements
    • Attrition – voluntary and involuntary
    • Transfers
    • Borrowing/loaning between agencies across Cx & Commerce
  • Work with business and discipline Leaders to forecast pipelined demand, drive utilization and productivity
  • Liaise with recruiting department to determine recruiting strategies and manage job postings
  • Gather staffing needs from Portfolio and Account teams and synthesize into resource tool
  • Summarize staffing needs and employee availability for presentation during weekly staffing meeting
  • Create employee staffing summaries and conduct weekly meetings for each discipline team
  • Develop a thorough understanding of resource skill sets to make optimal staffing recommendations
  • Partner with finance to understand revenue forecast and client margins to forecast staffing needs or capacity
  • Work with business and discipline Leaders to drive utilization and productivity
  • Collaborate with recruiting team regarding updates on internal landscape and changes to open position needs
  • Identify ways to increase efficiency or improve staffing processes and share recommendations to leadership
  • Assist with putting together and maintaining sub-contractor agreements and extensions
  • Oversee ongoing resource and workforce management, including:
    • Establish appropriate resource management targets
    • Establish reporting and monitoring requirements
    • Productivity/chargeability reviews
    • Pyramid management/overall workforce sizing
    • Resource forecasting


    Requirements 

    • Undergraduate degree
    • 4-6 years of Resource Management experience
    • Prior experience in agency or creative production environment preferred
    • Thorough understanding of resource management principals, reporting and general tool applications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
    • Task oriented mindset to work in fast paced environment
    • Develop a thorough understanding of resource skill sets to make optimal staffing recommendations
    • Partner with finance to understand revenue forecast and client margins to forecast staffing needs or capacity
    • Aptitude for managing a high volume of information
    • Resourceful and able to proactively anticipate needs and provide solutions
    • Warm and approachable with strong interpersonal skills to establish a rapport with diverse personalities
    • Advanced proficiency with Outlook and entire MS Office Suite and adaptability to leverage new tools and technologies
    • Strong understanding of digital landscape and demonstrated expertise.
