Big Brand Hackathon

On October 16-17, 2014 AdWatch Isobar championed Big Brand Hackathon– a mobile development marathon for brands. AdWatch Isobar agency and Apps4All, community of mobile applications programmers, organized the event that united the leading mobile development studios and the biggest advertisers.

The most famous companies-developers of the Russian mobile technologies market had been working at mobile apps prototypes development for 24 hours, according to briefs of the companies – leaders of the market: Materia Medika Holding, M. Video, Nestle, Radisson Royal Hotel Moscow, Unilever. There were 18 contesting teams in common, each brief matched the separate category.

«In Adwatch Isobar we believe in mobile and we really want the brands to believe in it as we do. Big Brand Hackathon was organized right for this aim. We carefully selected the teams with the relevant experience and invited only them. I am impressed with the number of great ideas, which were represented. It was our first hackathon and it was really successful» - says Maria Dmitrieva, CEO of Isobar Moscow.

The contest was organized in the frameworks of the 11th annual Dentsu Aegis Network Conference 2014 and became a unique event for Russian digital market.

Roughly a year later the Big Brand Hackathon 2015 was held within Anniversary Autumn Sessions 2015 held by Dentsu Aegis Network to single out the strongest apps developers team among segment leaders.
