Boosting efficiency using Design Sprint

Boosting efficiency using Design Sprint

Increase the efficiency of a complex software-based workflow against a hard KPI in just 10 days? Challenge accepted.

The results

An implementation ready new user flow and interaction design concept detailed down to the UI design level delivered as a unified team with our client.
A new user flow and interaction design concept, complete with UI design specification and delivered implementation-ready, as part of a unified team working alongside the client

The challenge

Agents are already fast. Can we increase it any further?

Planorama is a leading global provider of digitalization for retail execution. It streamlines the traditionally cumbersome store shelf validation process, using advanced AI solutions.
They have a team of agents to manage the quality assurance and training of their machine learning image recognition process.
Decreasing the average review time of agents while preserving the high quality results of this QA workflow, would lead to higher efficiency.
Planorama hired Isobar's Experience Design team to optimize the software flow and interface against the above mentioned KPIs.

The solution

Design Sprint tailored to the specific need of the project

We proposed a customized version of the Design Sprint to understand the problem space and generate possible solutions.
Working as an embedded part of Planorama's in-house product team, we iteratively explored multiple proposals and at the end of the 10-day design sprint, delivered a bespoke interactive solution prototype.
We scheduled the concept for A/B testing to validate its efficiency against the preset KPIs.
Finally we prepared this prototype for A/B testing in order to validate its efficiency against the required KPIs.
