To help expand Bossini's international footprint, we delivered a new site with improved performance and content flexibility.

The results

At launch, Bossini experienced a significant increase in eCommerce sales, registered users, returning visitors and traffic on desktop, and the responsive design website attracted new mobile shoppers.

The site was also named within the Top 10 eCommerce Websites 2015 and 2016 by Retail Asia Expo and GS1 Hong Kong.

The challenge

How can we ensure Bossini provides a stable online experience for customers?

Bossini’s previous eCommerce solution was inflexible and performed poorly outside of Hong Kong, which impacted sales and affected international reach. It was also prone to failure during high-traffic flash sales.

As a result we needed to deliver a solution that Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce platform to leverage eCommerce to drive international expansion to the US, European and other Asian countries.

The solution

We moved to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce Platform

We implemented a new site for Bossini using the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform for Hong Kong, the first in the market, and adapted the design for Taiwan.

This update included fully integrating the businesses internal system with PCM and OMS for product, stock and order data flow and the implementation of three languages with different OS and browsers.

Moving platform also increased control and flexibility over the Bossini site, with the ability to easily extend its digital retail business to other countries and adapt shipping pricing rules to meet local distributer constraints.
