Magnetix Linked by Isobar's Our Neighbourhoods work wins silver at the ECHO Awards
On Monday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, it was prize-giving time for the traditional ECHO Awards – the unofficial world championship for Direct & Data-Inspired Marketing. In the ‘Best Digital Destination’ category, danbolig won the silver award for ‘Our Neighbourhoods’, a project that was created and developed in cooperation with Magnetix Linked by Isobar.
“We are extremely proud of ‘Our Neighbourhoods’, because we feel it’s a platform that creates real value for our customers, while also providing knowledge and value for all the users who are not yet customers,” says Anne Mette Koch, CCO of danbolig. “‘Our Neighbourhoods’ is an important step in terms of our ambition to create an outstanding digital customer experience. Now we have the jury’s proof that we are even world class. To receive such global recognition for our work is naturally something huge.”
Get to know your new neighbourhood – before moving
‘Our Neighbourhoods’ was created on the basis of a realisation that when people are looking for houses, it's not only bricks and square metres that are important to them. They are also looking for a place where they can feel at home. A home also consists of everything outside your front door. danbolig.dk/nabolag gives everyone of Denmark’s 2,000+ neighbourhoods its very own universe, featuring a unique description of the people, options and services in the area. The content is based on a combination of data from numerous sources (including Geomatic, DMI, BBR, CVR, the Danish Ministry of taxation etc.) and user-generated material, where everyone has the chance to put their own favourite places on the map and promote their own neighbourhood.
The ‘Best Digital Destination’ category celebrates “digital destinations that prioritise the customer experience”. According to the jury, ‘Our Neighbourhoods’ is proof of what happens “when clever use of data meets great online experiences.”
Magnetix Linked by Isobar is also extremely proud of the award. “‘Our Neighbourhoods’ is an amazing project to have the opportunity to work on: not only because of the technical challenge of integrating so many different sources of data; but also because of the creative challenge that lies in expressing everything in a beautiful, inspirational user experience. Since we started working with danbolig 6 years ago, we have constantly been lifting the bar in terms of the digital customer experience, and it is truly rewarding to have a business partner that is so ambitious when it comes to digitisation,” says Ulrik Mailand, Alliance Director at Magnetix Linked by Isobar and Account Manager for our collaboration with danbolig.
