Isobar wins 2018 Greater China Effie Most Effectiveness Awards

On November 16th, the 2018 Greater China Effie Awards Ceremony took place in Shanghai, with Isobar China Group winning three Gold, one Silver, and five Bronze medals, as well as being ranked the Most Effective Agency Office of the Year.

The “top three effective ranking” has always been the highlight of the Effie Awards ceremony. This time, the Most Effective Agency Office rankings took the real-time updating model for the first time – as awards were announced in different categories, the effectiveness points instantly updated revealing the overall Most Effective Agency Office result. Having fiercely competed with Ogilvy & Mather Beijing, Isobar Shanghai won the Most Effective Agency Office of the year.

Isobar China Group won Gold Effie awards in the Brand Activation, Cultural Marketing and Youth Marketing-Teens & Young Adults categories for the "KFC China Digital Transformation" (1 x Gold) and "KFC X Gintama – Everything Will Be OK!" (2 x Gold) work respectively. The "KFC X Gintama –Everything Will Be OK!" work also received a Silver in the Carpe Diem category, as well as three Bronze medals in the Brand Experience-Products, Branded Content and Entertainment Marketing categories.

Isobar China Group were awarded two further Bronze medals for their work for KFC, one in the Real-time Marketing category for “KFC China – Hello 1987”, and another for “KFC – Duo of Two Generations’ Idols” in the Restaurants category.

At the awards ceremony, Isobar clients KFC and Yum! China ranked the first in Greater China's Most Effective Brands list, and top in the Most Effective Advertisers list. Dentsu Aegis Network, Isobar’s parent company, also won the Most Effective Agency Network, and were second in the Most Effective Agency Holding Group category.
