Isobar takes Effie Awards haul in 2018
2018 has proven a successful year for Isobar at award shows across the globe. The agency has picked up a host creative and effectiveness awards throughout the year, most notably winning the Digital Craft Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, multiple CLIO Awards, and picking up 22 Effie Awards across three regions.
Effie Award wins
Isobar China Group won three Gold, one Silver, and five Bronze medals, as well as being ranked the Most Effective Agency Office of the Year in November. The team won Gold Effies in the Brand Activation, Cultural Marketing and Youth Marketing-Teens & Young Adults categories for the "KFC China Digital Transformation" (1 x Gold) and "KFC X Gintama – Everything Will Be OK!" (2 x Gold) work respectively.
The "KFC X Gintama – Everything Will Be OK!" work also received a Silver in the Carpe Diem category, as well as three Bronze medals in the Brand Experience-Products, Branded Content and Entertainment Marketing categories. Isobar China Group were awarded two further Bronze medals for their work for KFC, one in the Real-time Marketing category for “KFC China – Hello 1987”, and another for “KFC – Duo of Two Generations’ Idols” in the Restaurants category.
Isobar Malaysia were awarded two Golds in the Branded Content and Seasonal Marketing categories for “Ho Ee Ki – Let It Go” work for Mudah.my. Mudah.my connects millions of buyers and sellers in Malaysia through the online platform.
Flock Linked by Isobar in Mexico received a Gold and three Silver medals in the Small budgets (Gold), Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (Silver), Retail (Silver) and Promotions (Silver) categories. “Goodbye to your old Cuba” for Kraken, from Casa Cuervo, won the Gold Effie in the Small Budgets category and Silver in Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco.
The Flock team were also awarded Silver in the Promotions category for supermarket chain, Bodega Aurrera, part of the Walmart family, and "Give.Love.Jeans" for American Eagle also received a Silver medal, in the Retail category.
Most recently, Isobar France picked up a Gold Effie for the “Boys React To Tampons” work for leading tampon brand Nett. Isobar Hungary and Isobar Poland were also awarded two Silver medals for the “Looking For A Date?” work for Durex, and the “Współrealizację Campaign Gang Rookies Returns” for Jeronimo Martins respectively. Isobar Russia also scored a Bronze award for their “Streamishche” work for leading mobile and fixed-line communications company MTS.
