Isobar Senior Creative Launches Monthly Diversity Blog, 'No Gimmicks'
Diversity in advertising. It should be common practice, but it’s not. Conversely, it has also become fashionable, which has led to a string of inauthentic work - ‘bandwagon’ behaviour'.
For this reason, Sharon Goldstoff, Senior Creative at Isobar Netherlands, has launched a monthly blog called 'No Gimmicks: Best of Diversity' blog which cherry-picks non-gimmicky work which naturally champions diversity, is driven by purpose, and has the potential to create measurable change.
Sharon's criteria for the work she features is:
- Diversity isn’t the subject of the commercial.
- The commercial stays away from stereotypes.
- The main characters were chosen based on diversity.
