Isobar scoops 5 One Show prizes
Isobar’s global teams in the Netherlands, Mexico and France have picked up 5 awards at the One Show, one of the world's most prestigious award show in advertising, design and digital marketing. For over 40 years, the Gold Pencil has been regarded as one of the top prizes in the creative industry. The One Show has had a rich legacy of honouring some of the most ground-breaking ideas, created by some of the most remarkable minds in creativity.
Snelweg Sprookjes (or "Road Tales" in English) by our Isobar and Achtung!mcgarrybowen Amsterdam teams scooped three prizes for their Volkswagen work – One Gold (Responsive environments), One Bronze (Mobile Apps) and One Merit (Creative Use of Data). Road Tales is a set of innovative location-based interactive audiobooks that transform ordinary road objects into magical characters of a story. Last Straw by Isobar Mexico picked up a Silver award in the Innovation in Design Category. Their work for Son de Miel designed and manufactured artificial beehives from reused discarded plastic straws.
Jetlag Social Club by Isobar France for Flying Blue (Air France KLM’s customer loyalty programme) was awarded a Merit in the Applications category. Developed as an app, this service offers personalised experiences that match the traveller’s biological clock.This news follows the news earlier this week that Isobar also picked up another haul of Pencils at the D&AD awards.
