Isobar China Group Appoints Milan Chiang as Chief Commerce Officer

Isobar China Group has announced the appointment of Milan Chiang, CEO of VeryStar-Linked by Isobar, as Chief Commerce Officer (CCO).

Milan will continue to lead the business of VeryStar-Linked by Isobar. As newly appointed CCO of Isobar China Group, Milan will integrate Isobar’s commerce business and service offering and will develop a future-forward commerce strategy for the agency. In addition to driving Isobar China Group's commerce products and data segmentation, Milan will provide clients creative-driven, data and technology-based end-to-end solutions.

The appointment is effective immediately. Milan will base in Shanghai and report to Tammy Sheu, CEO of Isobar China Group.

With more than 20 years of experience in retailing and marketing, Milan established VeryStar in 2011 and has been serving CEO till now. Milan was honoured “Women to Watch” by Campaign Asia in 2018 and chaired the New Retail Committee of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA). She is also a well-respected columnist and speaker in the industry, known as "The Queen of Mobile Marketing".

Regarding the new position, Milan said: "There are two priorities for brands developing their e-commerce business in China. One is to establish close ties with multiple e-commerce platforms, the other is to cultivate private domain traffic and transform to sales growth through social media fission. We have been investing in these two fields for many years and have made some achievements. I have great confidence in the future. "
