The position is for a Communication Planning Director to work 100% of their time on the prestigious Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) account. Previous automotive experience is not essential.
The role of the Communication Planning Director falls into three broad areas:
Build a close and trusted relationship with JLR and their incumbent agency partners as well as key media vendors. From a JLR point-of-view we would expect the successful candidate to be regarded by JLR as not only an extension of the JLR customer experience team but an indispensable one.
Develop insight driven communication strategies that are capable of influencing all aspects of marketing not just advertising. These strategies need to be clear, succinct and actionable by everyone involved in the project (both inside and outside of JLR).
Input to the strategic vision for the JLR account as well as for the brand dentsu X. You will also be expected to be an active member of the broader dentsu X leading initiatives that impact the quality of our strategic output across the agency globally.
