Client Creation Senior Manager

Reports into: Client Creation Partner

Manages: Junior & Senior Executives


As a Client Creation Director ‘in waiting’ the senior creation manager will take on greater responsibilities in content planning and client management, manage executives and monitor their workload, and develop their skill sets. A TSL Manager will lead larger more complex content solutions and drive the team to deliver innovative, ambitious, integrated and ‘on-brief’ content solutions, sponsorships and partnerships. 

Main Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

  • Works with the Creation Director to challenge client briefs, ensuring creative solutions key performance indicators are achievable
  • Collaborates with the Creation Director  to implement content solutions from conception to completion
  • Liaises with Media Owners and third parties and builds trusted relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Project manages the team to deliver excellent execution of full creative content solutions campaigns
  • Acts as a key contact for all stages of negotiations of a new project
  • Delivers key creative thinking across all projects
  • Acts as the ‘gatekeeper’ for quality control and the first port of call on day to day queries and questions and plan progress
  • Coordinates invoicing and payment process as per contract and terms agree
  • Delivers confident presentations of proposals to senior clients
  • Develops nurtures and train junior members of their account team 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Awareness of latest market developments and trends
  • Significant experience of training/mentoring others
  • Experience of managing clients and delivering operational brilliance
  • Managing creative content RTB processes
  • Understand fee structures and commercial terms

What They Produce

  • High quality, creative RTBs that meet a client business challenge
  • Written award entries for internal and external awards
  • Weekly reporting & upkeep of Status sheet/billings tracker for forecasting purposes & accuracy of client billings.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4 years+ media experience
  • Content creative solutions experience in multiple media platforms
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Commercial ownership of some smaller accounts


  • Allocation of workload in the team on a day to day basis
  • Responsible for deadline management & quality of client proposals
  • First port of call for team to escualte client, media owner and planning challenges to ensure TSL service levels are to the highest stanadard.


  • Collaborating with planning brands client managers and Directors on client briefs
  • Working closely with the Creation director to support the smooth running of the team resource
  • Presenting content solutions directly to clients
  • Daily, collaborative media owner relationships

Measures of Success

  • Team and client/planning community  feedback on proposals and quality of work
  • Improved conversion rates from brief to sign off
  • Accuracy of client billings/status sheet/ forecasts
  • Award wins and nominations
