Introduction to The Story Lab

The Story Lab (TSL) is Dentsu Aegis Network's entertainment company. We work with the best in class creators and producers to fund, develop and distribute innovative entertainment formats, scripted drama and films that attract audiences for media owners and brands across all markets. Since 2015, it has expanded its footprint to 20 markets, attracted more than 250 entertainment and marketing professionals, invested in its own slate of premium entertainment content rights and has also produced and exec produced hundreds of hours of brand entertainment.

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to work with clients and media owners in order to drive creative, innovative and effective brand entertainment solutions, to provide support and assistance in managing client campaigns, and to keep day to day activities running smoothly.

The Account Executive reports to the Production Manager and must work closely with the account/activation team to ensure that brand entertainment concepts are deliverable and accurately meet client needs.

Experience

  • Media industry experience (preferred, but not essential)
  • Experience of working in teams delivering client needs
  • Creative solutions experience ideally in one or more media platforms
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in running multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Some knowledge of entertainment/ media landscape outside of UK preferred

  • Awareness of latest market developments and trends
  • Managing creative content RTB processes
  • Ability to quickly understand all tools, systems and processes needed to operate within the role and the ability to seamlessly switch between usage of them when required

Key Accountabilities

  • Supports Manager in delivering outstanding client service through management of key projects
  • Works with wider team to challenge client briefs, ensuring campaign goals and KPIs are achievable
  • Collaborates with team to implement creative solutions from conception to completion
  • Builds trusted relationships with media owners
  • Delivers excellent execution of full creative solutions campaigns
  • Acts as the first port of call on day to day queries, questions and campaign progress
  • Is responsible for all invoicing and payment processes
  • Knows how to use and utilise all relevant tools
  • Delivers presentations
