Client Solutions Project Manager (Malaria No More)

The Client Solutions Project Manager (Malaria No More) will manage internal and external teams (from Global to Local, and across all Disciplines as required – e.g. Creative, Digital, Media, Experiential etc.) through the project lifecycle from the initial requirements and discovery processes through mobilisation, solution design and implementation phases.

In this role, the main purpose is to manage and deliver the output for the Malaria No More Commonwealth Malaria Campaign.  However, when the workload permits, the client solutions account manager will work on other strategic projects.

The Client Solutions Project Manager has the following accountabilities

Project Mobilisation:

  • Confirming the project scope
  • Producing and agreeing the terms of reference
  • Creating, refining, and maintaining the project plan
  • Ensuring the appropriate resource is available for the project
  • Mobilising and managing Day-to-Day project coordination with MNM client and DAN Phase 3 Programme Delivery Teams
  • Successfully mobilising the project, internally/externally, across markets, and across wide range of disciplines

Progress management:

  • Manage project progress and ensure output quality
  • Maintain RAID log and other project documents
  • Problem solving
  • Risk and Issue management, escalating to senior stakeholders for resolution including DAN Head of Social Impact and Executive Sponsor for MNM
  • Ensure third parties and internal teams deliver to agreed plan
  • Reporting to and getting approvals from the clients, Senior Management, and Social Impact Steering Committee as appropriate

Stakeholder management:

  • Project status reporting to stakeholders – complex layers of internal/external stakeholder management may be required, could be political / require sensitivity
  • Work directly, and via internal teams, to ensure that client teams are engaged and support the project
  • Manage other internal stakeholders within the organisation as required.

Key Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years project and change management experience, preferably in media or related industries
  • Experience of managing projects in global and/or large-scale organisations
  • Full experience of project lifecycle
  • Matrix management experience

  • Excellent stakeholder/relationship management and influencing skills, with an ability to bring a diverse set of stakeholders (with many competing priorities) together into high performing teams

  • Skilled in use of O365 suite plus recognised project management tools
