Additional websites for BenQ
BenQ, a Taiwanese multinational company that sells consumer electronics, was interested in launching eCommerce websites in the US and European markets.
Solution
Ecommerce integration
Isobar Commerce coordinated with the BenQ headquarters in Taiwan to deliver eCommerce sites for Europe and the US. Isobar integrated Adobe Experience Manager with Magento through REST APIs in order to use AEM as the CMS. In addition to this, Isobar integrated the site with various 3rd party systems such as BenQ’s proprietary Member Center (CRM), Oracle (ERP), Google Analytics, and Adyen (payment).
Results
Advantages to using AEM and Magento
The EU site was released in Q3 2018, and the US site was released on Q1 2019. By using both AEM and Magento, BenQ realized several advantages: Rich content and multimedia editor with AEM, Comprehensive and customizable transactional engine with Magento, Integration across BenQ’s established and new 3rd party systems, and a global codebase utilized across multiple markets and various brands.
