As Chief Commercial Officer of Isobar Switzerland, Pierre-Alexandre Riera focuses on business development. He is in charge of the commercial strategy and the development of the organisation to drive business growth and market share, ensuring that all functions are aligned with the strategic commercial objectives.
Pierre-Alexandre joined blue-infinity Linked by Isobar in 2005, as a Java developer, advancing to Project Manager and later Client Engagement Manager. After two years of leading some very challenging projects, he implemented growth strategies and increased the size of the Java practice to 60 experts, as Practice Manager. Over his 15 years with blue-infinity, he has had the opportunity to work with talented multi-disciplinary teams to create solutions for digital CRM, digital process automation and digital collaboration. During his tenure, Pierre-Alexandre improved the quality and delivery capacity of this practice, which today is one of the largest in Western Switzerland and is equipped to respond to key account projects of significant size and scope.
Born and raised in Perpignan, Pierre-Alexandre studied in the north of France at ENSIAME, where he achieved a degree in computer science, a subject he was interested in since age 12. His other pursuit is as a musician, playing lead guitar in the band ‘Closer’, who perform several times a year in Switzerland at local clubs and festivals. Pierre-Alexandre speaks French, English and Spanish.
