Patrik’s motivation comes from the tempo of the digital space itself, something he has experienced as an individual, witnessed as a manager and capitalised upon as a change leader. From early beginnings in Northern Sweden, Patrik graduated in Marketing & Communications from the University of Umeå, topping this with a Systems Engineering degree in Internet Technology. A host of roles followed across fledgling technology companies, many of which would rise to be leaders in their own right, and some publicly listed, such as WM-data, Infomakers and Tradedoubler.
Patrik joined Dentsu Aegis Network in 2007, at the helm of iProspect, now a global, award-winning agency, driving business performance and overseeing the accounts of clients, including adidas, General Motors and Kellogg's. Over 6 years, Patrik helped develop iProspect into the leading performance marketing agency in Sweden, culminating in a career pivot to Chief Executive Officer of DAN Sweden. He now divides responsibility between driving DAN agency, Amnet, and as Chief Operating Officer of the Northern and Central Europe region.
Championing professional development for so many digital industry shapers has been a privilege for Patrik. By surrounding himself with great people and learning constantly, he has helped clients and individuals achieve success and benefit from opportunities the internet has created. As with all things digital, he is a great believer in the philosophy that the real and most important changes are always ahead of us.
A passionate skier and climber, Patrik enjoys adventure in remote areas of the Alps and Alaska to distance himself from digital.
