We invited consumers into a underwater universe experience for Ulysse Nardin.

We were tasked with creating a website that presented the new Ulysse Nardin Diver watch to the world through showcasing the brand’s partnership with famous professional diver Fred Buyle. We knew that most diver watch lovers don’t actually dive, but those who wear them all have a common admiration for the spirit of endless exploration.

Solution

Innovating the platform

Our strategy was to lead visitors into an adventure at the depths of the sea - the very essence of the Ulysse Nardin brand - to discover the new Diver’s features. We achieved this by proposing a “First Person View” exploration (rather than a vertical scroll) to achieve realism. By proposing a virtual reality version of the mobile website we made the experience even more immersive. To present the watch and its features, we created a real-time full 3D environment, optimised to run on every device, with a UX/UI centred on exploration. The underwater universe was beautified with 3D animated animals, turtles, sharks, a school of fish, all accompanying the visitor‘s discovery.
