Challenge

Celebrating a brand mission

JLL, a global real estate management company, wanted to bring to life their brand mission of helping people in urban cities achieve big ambitions. Sponsoring 6 young elite climbers trying to qualify for 2020 Olympics, JLL challenged us to think of ways to help them celebrate their involvement. We quickly discovered a lack of precision training tools that could show how JLL is committed to the cause.

Solution

Transformative wearables

We created a wearable and a training platform for climbers. It uses camera-less motion capture suits to record kinematic data which is processed into an interactive action-replay, giving us a precise and intuitive look at each climber’s performance. The data is made available online, so each climber’s performance can be analysed remotely by international coaches. Climbers from different countries can also benchmark their best climbs against each other even before reaching the Olympics.
