To position Philips as an innovative brand, we created ‘Brush Busters,’ a fun mobile rewards game to encourage kids to brush their teeth.

Challenge

Shifting consumer behaviour

Children don't understand the importance of cleaning their teeth and having them do it properly can be challenging for parents. We needed to use gaming technology to help explain why brushing is important, but also to make it fun and rewarding.

Solution

A fun experience

Using Google expertise, we created a game where brushing helped rescue animated characters in an interactive story app. 

Sensors connected any brush to the game, so when children brushed for two minutes, they saved a tooth of their favourite character and collected in-game rewards. 

Parents could keep track of their brushing behaviour and set their own custom rewards.
