Senior Search & Social Account Manager

The Senior Search and Social Account Manager to must collaborate seamlessly with other functional teams and specialties (e. g. Media Intelligence, Investment, Client Consulting). This role reports to and works closely with the Head of Digital Operations, Head of Programmatic and will support the larger client team. 


Internal and External Clients:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all clients for the Search and Social team 
  • Fully understand client business objectives / communication objectives and ensure these are translated into meaningful platform strategies 
  • Attend and represent the team at regular external and internal client meetings, including status meetings, briefing sessions, campaign reviews, QBRs etc 

Team & Workload management 

  • Be responsible for mentoring junior members of your team 
  • Be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of yours and junior team members work 
  • Actively mentor and empower your team to increase quality and performance on your clients 
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and reconciliation of campaign spend / income for your clients to ensure suppliers are paid on time, and clients are invoiced on time 
  • Ensure you are completing timesheets in an accurate and timely manner to enable the business to complete channel and client profitability / resource analysis 

Campaign Quality Assurance 

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered as planned with no overspends or errors in delivery 
  • Biddable Activation Campaign management, optimization and analysis 
  • Monitors daily delivery and performs regular optimization of all campaign elements based on agreed campaign KPIs  
  • Ensure regular reporting to clients is delivered according to schedule, working in partnership with our consulting team 

Product Development & New Business 

  • Remain abreast of developments in Biddable Activation and broader digital space 
  • Contribute towards new business RFPs and pitches as required 
  • Actively contribute as a leader for product workstreams and strategic projects 


  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Biddable Activation, social media planning or biddable media / PPC team 
  • Good understanding of planning search and social campaigns across various strategies, channels and buying models 
  • Practical expertise in activation and campaign management on self-service biddable platforms: Google ads, SA360, FB/IG, LinkedIn, TikTok 
  • Strong connections in the industry with the knowledge of knowing all the right people and places to go for the right deal 
  • Experience in leading and collaborating with others, internal and external 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise for self and others (junior team members) 
  • Keen eye for detail and understanding of budget management  
  • Self-Starter who demonstrates initiative 
  • Business fluent in English and German, any other local language skills a bonus
