And for our next trick... we produced the website, social, print and campaign for the 10th year of the Edinburgh International Magic Festival.

Challenge

Captivating campaign, fit to enchant

MagicFest started out 10 years ago and has since seen performances by world-class illusionists, thousands of children attending Magic School and even magic shows for the blind and partially sighted.

To celebrate their 10 year anniversary they wanted to create something a little different, that would stand out from the crowd. They wanted to celebrate the festival with something visually stunning, that would look to the future of the festival.

Solution

Illusions that delight

We wanted to use an illusion to showcase the festival. Magic to sell magic.

 

The idea was to create a series of hero images using seemingly random objects creating magical shadows. We loved the idea. The client loved the idea. We now had to make it a reality.

The magic shows sold out across the programme and the campaign was nominated at the 2020 NODS awards.
