Isobar Discusses “Innovation in E-Commerce” at NASSCOM Product Conclave 2019

On March 15th, NASSCOM Product Conclave in Pune (NPC) commemorated its 5th Edition. Over the years with its deep understanding and support to nurture the Indian IT ecosystem, the organization has been working to bring together leaders for the next frontier of disruptive technology innovations which will soon be prevalent across the software product space and businesses that consume them.

NASSCOM Product Conclave (NPC) provides a platform for speakers, entrepreneurs, CXOs, investors, and customers to congregate and share their views, develop their businesses, showcase their products, learn from each other and interact with their peers. The theme of the conclave this year was "Innovation—FutureTech—Disruption" and focused on how to creatively enhance businesses while the futuristic technologies are enabling disruptive innovations through machine intelligence.

NPC this year had a dedicated track on “Retail Tech” focusing on the top retail technology trends that are making their way into stores, e-commerce sites, and consumer’s homes. Shashikant Shimpi, VP - Operations, Isobar Commerce India talked about “Innovation in E-Commerce” and shared his insights on the e-commerce trends and the emerging technological innovations – Voice Assistants, Augmented & Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Emotion Science and their impact on the global brands and retailers. He also discussed how innovation in retail is changing the e-commerce landscape by designing an experience that’s remarkable and creating value that keeps bringing the customers back.

We also had a booth at the event where we showcased how we help brands and retailers transform themselves using digital technologies to create game-changing business innovations. Our booth attracted more than 300 visitors, most of whom were interested in learning about our capabilities in the arena of emerging technologies and how they can integrate these disruptive technologies into their businesses. There were also inquiries from some leading brands regarding the potential opportunities of collaboration and partnership in the emerging technology space.
