POSITION DETAILS:
Position: Sitecore Developer
Department: Technology Team
Reports directly to: Client Engagement Director
POSITION OVERVIEW
You will work closely with Senior developers, Solution Architects and Technical Leads, helping to develop and support world-class Sitecore and .NET/C# projects for some of Australia's largest brands.
Good analytical and development skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must-have. You'll also use best practice and established work procedures to analyse, design, develop implement, maintain and troubleshoot applications.
ABOUT THE WORK
The team is a highly skilled, cross-functional team who are passionate about their craft, pushing boundaries, following best practices and creating exceptional experiences. We are looking for someone who loves working with UX and UI designers, analysts, front end developers and directly with clients to help them to bring amazing ideas to life using agile design and development. You'll have a good understanding in the web development life-cycle and will assist the team on projects from ideation through to delivery. You'll also have a keen thirst to be constantly learning about new technology that we can bring to our clients.
ABOUT YOU
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong verbal and written communication skills & the ability to liaise with team members.
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- The ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.

- Assist in estimation with cross-functional team members .
- Write clear and concise documentation.
- Help share knowledge and experience throughout the team and the greater agency
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of .NET development across ASP.NET, C#, MVC, SQL.
- At least 4+ years of experience with developing applications using Sitecore CMS.
- Proven technical familiarity with:
- Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) version 8+
- Experience with personalisation, xDB and xConnect.
- ExM.
- WFFM/Sitecore Forms.
- SPEAK applications.
- Experience with Sitecore Helix design/development principles(preferred).
- Experience in using Sitecore development tools such as Glass Mapper, TDS, Unicorn.
- Experience implementing and/or supporting continuous deployment with tools such as Azure DevOps,TeamCity or Octopus Deploy.
- Experience in unit testing,Test Driven Development and SOLID Principles.
- Exposure to the Cloud Hosting platforms.
- Experience in Inversion of Control and Entity Framework.

- Experience working with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA).
- Working with Sitecore in Azure PaaS and WebApps.
- Experience working with SolrCloud.
- Experience working with Sitecore Commerce.
- A reasonable understanding of javascript frameworks (eg. Angular, ReactJS).
- A reasonable understanding on delivering performant web applications.
- Agile methodology experience.
