The role: Quality Assurance Tester
Isobar is looking for a Quality Assurance and Automation Tester to join our highly collaborative team. This contract position is a great opportunity to work on world-class projects involving Java/AEM, C#/Sitecore, iOS, Android, Web Apps for some of Australia's largest companies.

Responsibilities include...
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Execute the plan and manage all activities in the plan to ensure that all the project objectives are met and the solution works as expected.
- Track and report the QA activities on a per project basis.
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and make appropriate recommendations.
- Contribute to and monitor test planning, test preparation and scripting, and test execution according to established test standards and procedures.
- Manage verification and validation activities for all production modifications.
- Maintain document template libraries and internal project documentation related to testing, including releases and changes.
- Work closely with development team to review issues or bug reports.
- Review project deliverables and artifacts from a testing perspective, and provide feedback, including actively participating in a test plan review with the team.
- Perform Software Quality Assurance on all outgoing functionality-led projects regardless of size or budget
- In partnership with business analysts and the development team, plan and manage quality control throughout all delivery phases, to ensure all project milestones and quality standards are met or exceeded
- Identify and engage key collaborators in the agency to assist the QA effort
- Accurately cost QA effort on projects and inform delivery timing plans
- Manage the creation and maintenance of quality strategy and test scripts
- Organise, oversee and perform testing sessions with the available internal and external resources
- Manage bug tracking via JIRA, and work with creative and technical project leads and producers to correctly assign and prioritise bugs
- Determine the severity of quality issues and inform production priorities
- Contribute to project debriefs
- Contribute to agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning etc)

You'll have a strong understanding in all aspects of testing, and will be a support and guide for the team. You'll also have a keen thirst to be constantly learning about new technology that we can bring to our clients.
You are detailed but understand the strategic vision and goals, love solving problems and challenges, organised and an excellent communicator. You are also a strategic and creative thinker, and relish solving problems.
Required qualifications and experience...
- Australian Citizen and can obtain a security clearance
- 3+ years’ experience in web application development with quality assurance/test experience
- Strong understanding in automated testing and QA tools and techniques
- Knowledgeable in all processes and procedures utilized for quality assurance
- Experience with Sitecore, Drupal, Wordpress and Adobe Experience Manager
- Experience with different operating systems, common web browsers, HTML and CSS
- Proficient in quality assurance methodology, change management and communication skills
Desired qualifications and experience...
- Preferably prior exposure to (or awareness of) creative development processes, information architecture, web development and associated technologies
- Knowledge with Atlassian products Jira and Confluence
- Quick thinker, able to identify problems and carry out solutions quickly
- Ability to communicate and negotiate in a professional manner with colleagues
- Ability to pro-actively identify challenges and recommend solutions
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple clients and projects
- Dedicated with proven accuracy and attention to detail
- Posses a Baseline or NV1 security clearance
