Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master
The role: Senior Project Manager
This role will see a Senior Project Manager responsible for leading and supporting a large cross-functional team to deliver a digital platform for a high profile Commonwealth Department. The role is a key client contact and will be the day-to-day liaison with senior stakeholders. This role reports to one of our Client Engagement Directors, and is supported by a Delivery craft lead.
Responsibilities include...
- Helping to motivate and guide a team of experience designers, interface designers, and engineers to achieve amazing outcomes
- Establishing effective day to day relationships with key client senior stakeholders and be a point of escalation
- Helping the team define and scope creative solutions that achieve our clients’ goals
- Preparing estimates and statements of work
- Planning and scheduling projects to meet business objectives for both us and our clients
- Work with the Operations team to ensure all projects for your team have sufficient resources, forward planning needs in our resourcing system
- Tracking and reviewing project progress, delivering projects with the project team to ensure they meet their expected budget, time and scope
- Mitigating issues and risks, and escalating effectively
- Supporting and mentoring other project managers with their day-to-day craft development.

Desired qualifications and experience...
- 5+ years’ experience in a fast paced digital environment delivering large and complex digital projects, 2 years using Agile methodologies
- 2-4+ years client facing experience, agency experience preferred but not essential
- Experience working with Federal or State government agencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong scope and change management skills
- Strong risk management and mitigation skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Prior experience in human centred design (user experience) projects
- Experience with project management tools (Excel, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, PowerPoint, WorkBook)
- CMS experience (enterprise preferred: e.g. AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, Oracle etc)
- Certified ScrumMaster (PSM, CSM, etc)
- Baseline or NV1 security clearance
