The results
The idea generated 6.4 million impressions in just five days.
The challenge
How could we improve the job hunting process and ensure resumes were read top to bottom?
SEEK is the number one job listing site in Australia, and they were looking for a way to highlight how they make the job hunting process easier. We realised that the one thing that unites all job hunters is their resume, however studies show that 70% of hirers only spend 90 seconds or less reading them. So we needed a way to ensure every resume was read from top to bottom.
The solution
We created real job opportunities for people in just 140 characters.
We encouraged everyone to tweet their resume in 140 characters or less, offering tips and tricks to cut the resume fat. For every #SEEKCV submitted, SEEK would respond with a suitable job listing, leading to some real job opportunities. All kinds of #SEEKCVs were received, some serious ones, and some seriously funny ones. SEEK announced the top three submissions every week using Vine.
