Isobar Cape Town looks the part

The Upper Eastside Hotel in Cape Town has always been more than just a hotel. It has also been home to some of the most creative and innovative minds in the city, being the location of Isobar’s Cape Town offices and several other agencies. However, this has gone largely unnoticed until now.

Thanks to the talent of one of our youngest creatives, Shar-Lee Nel, frequenters of the hotel will now notice a striking artwork that has recently been installed. The colourful, 15 metre-long wall decal with the words ‘play fearlessly’ features a collection of quirky illustrations and pop-culture references, and highlights the fact that not only are we a creative agency, but we also know how to stand out, take risks and have fun.

Embodying the values of Isobar and Dentsu Aegis, Shar-Lee has grown from strength to strength within the agency. She first joined the team as a Social Media Manager who began taking on odd jobs around the office that soon revealed her hidden design talents. From then on it was no question about whether or not she should join the creative team, a place where she has since flourished.

The new wall mural is Shar-Lee’s biggest project to date and her determination and passion should be a lesson to us all to play a little more fearlessly.
