Halloween is a busy time of year to be on social media. Fanta wanted to create content that would stand out from all the noise, and engage teenagers with interactive and enticing posts. They also wanted to increase their social media following on Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram, and create a strong online community with their fans.
We created a multiplatform campaign that combined ads of Halloween characters and a hashtag competition for fans. Using #FantaHalloween on a photo of your costume put you in the running to win a Hoverboard, and hints of the prize were creatively leaked on Snapchat. The campaign was a home run, resulting in a 73% increase in Instagram followers, 844 new Facebook fans and over 889 000 video views.
