When Roland started his career selling banners for magazine websites, he quickly decided cold calling was not his thing. He decided to come over to the agency side and landed his first media planning job with the largest media agency in The Netherlands. In 2003, his path crossed with Dentsu Aegis Network when the company he was working for was acquired by DAN. Roland walked the road from Media Planner, International Media Director to Client Services Director and by the end of 2009 was asked to become the Managing Director of Dentsu's most innovative and strategic media agency Vizeum.
With communications strategy & planning often not controlling the creative part of a campaign process, Roland still felt like something was missing. So when he got the chance to lead Isobar he didn't need time to think. He is fully addicted to his own digital world and considers himself lucky being part of the whole digital media revolution. It is an exciting time with businesses rapidly changing and Roland looks forward to help transform client businesses from strategy to innovative ideas.
