Social Media Executive / Manager

The Social Media Executive  will implement our client’s Social Media Strategy, develop and sustain brand conversations, campaign awareness on social media channels.  The Social Media Manager is a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for content strategy, blogging, micro-blogging and community participation leadership.


Responsibilities / Requirements


  • Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
    • Curate relevant content to reach the audience.
    • Write editorial content
    • Communicating in a professional, but unique social media “voice” for each client; directly aligned with the clients’ brand voice and content platform.
    • Based on client’s brief, creating social media campaigns and calls-to-action that drive the objectives
    • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” and positive way
    • Cultivate online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions.
    • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.
    • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog).
    • Design, create and manage promotions and Facebook ad campaigns.
    • Compile report for management showing results (ROI).


  • Working closely with Social Media Team to monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy and Conduct competitive analysis studies on client competitors, including digital footprint analysis.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business, report to appropriate management.
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media..
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, imagery and video format.
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Developing a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”.
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques. Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
