David joined Isobar in 2011 from JWT where he was Digital lead and head of XM Hong Kong. After 2 years as a BD he was promoted to lead the Hong Kong operation as Managing Director. Since then he has transformed Isobar Hong Kong into the multiple award–winning, market-leading agency that it is today. In 2015 he led the team to a double-Gold win, picking up “Hong Kong Digital Agency of the Year” awards from both Campaign Asia and Marketing Magazine.
David has 16 years of digital marketing experience, commencing in 1999 in the days of the “dotcom boom”. Initially, he spent 6 years with regional Digital Marketing agency Web Guru Asia, account managing a full range of digital projects including Internet strategy consulting, integrated campaigns, CRM, Website design & build, and Intranet and CMS projects. He later worked with Euro RSCG 4D managing regional CRM/Loyalty projects for Chevron and Carrefour and was then assigned to lead a regional project for ING Asia/Pacific before joining JWT.
Outside of the office, David’s gets his inspiration from climbing mountains, crossing ice-caps, mounting expeditions to remote wilderness areas, enjoying the Great Outdoors and playing competitive sports.
