Isobar scoops Effie Awards haul

As an industry, we look to effectiveness awards to showcase and celebrate the most successful work both in terms of creative ideas and commercial results. Advertisers and agencies know the Effie Awards globally as the pre-eminent award in the industry, recognising all forms of marketing communication that contributes to a brand’s success.

In the 2016 Edition of the Effie Awards Isobar picked up a total of 17 Effie Awards including most effective agency of the year in Poland and two grand prix prizes.

Here’s where, and what we won.

At the Greater China Effie Awards, Isobar China picked up one Gold, in Media-Media Activation, one Silver in B2B and one Bronze in Seasonal Marketing for Unilever Food Solutions with "A Taste of Home". Trio Isobar picked up two Gold awards, in Interactive Communication, and Brand Content, and one Silver award in Packaged Food, Snacks & Desserts for Master Kong with "Kong-Fu of Noodles".

At the Mexico Effies, Flock Linked by Isobar became the most awarded agency in this year’s show in Mexico. The team picked up the Grand Effie for "Que nada te detenga", their Domino’s pizza campaign and it went on to win the ‘best campaign of the year’. The accolade is decided between all the entries that won gold in any category. The campaign was also awarded Gold in the Food category. The team also scooped two more Golds for "Imagina Cuervo" their work for Jose Cuervo in the small budgets and institutional category.

At the Poland Awards, Lubię to – Linked by Isobar was named "Most Effective Agency of the Year" with 6 Effie Awards for six different pieces of work. Three silvers in total: in the brand experience category for ING, "Navidom", the Social education and CSR category for NIVEA, "NIVEA Playground" and in the Beauty and Care category for NIVEA MEN, "Take good care of your skin with simple tool". They also scooped three silver accolades in the alcohol category for Redd’s "Beer other than others," in the Telecom category for Virgin Mobile and the "Let yourself be spoiled" campaign, and in the Consumer goods category for Phillips "Perfect Care 2015". Isobar Poland won the Long Term Marketing Excellence Effie and the grand prix for "Everybody go to Play" for Play (their telecom client). Watch the Gala here.
