Abel is one of those that think technological and scientific revolutions come always along with cultural and economic changes as well as mentality changes. Therefore there’s no sense in looking into the future using the nostalgic glasses of the past. Abel begun his career in the 1990s when he recognised that computing would result in a revolution in communications. In 1999, he became the co-founder of the first, most awarded and the most innovative digital agency in Brazil, AgênciaClick. This later became Isobar Brasil. An Entrepreneur at heart, in 2014 Abel became the first native digital executive to assume a regional leadership position at Dentsu Aegis Network, where he is currently CEO of Dentsu Aegis Brazil, in addition to his his role at Isobar Latin America. He's a renowned professional, most recently he was chosen by InfoExame magazine as one of 50 technology and media professionals to know, and appointed by Proxxima Magazine in 2011 and 2012 as one of the 10 most innovative professionals in advertising in Brazil. In October 2014, he was invited to join the Brazilian Marketing Academy - Hall of Fame, and in 2015 he appointed by GQ Magazine as one of the 20 most influential advertising executives in Brazil.
Abel has BA in Philosophy and Systems Engineering – University Federal of Rio de Janeiro, and PHD in Communication Studies and Semiotics – PUC Sao Paulo.
