UX/UI Architect

We’re looking for a UX/UI Architect to join our growing and entrepreneurial team. You’ll be designing interactive experiences with all consideration given to the user and usability best practices and the balancing of those with business goals and technical capabilities. You’ll need to be a problem solver who actively pursues new and complex challenges. You should be comfortable leading Experience Design projects whilst also being able to grasp the narrative set forth by other team leads.

Main Responsibilities

As our UX/UI Architect, you’ll exhibit strong design thinking and be able to solve a diverse range of problems. You’ll work with the Experience Design Director to produce quality UX sketches, interaction models and user journeys, while documenting those interactions for visual designers and developers using prototypes or annotated wireframes as relevant. You’ll be on the ball with the latest cross platform technology and human interactions and will collaborate with the wider isobar team to contribute to ideas and innovations within the discipline.

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates a strong understanding of technology and its applications, and is able to creatively support its effective use to solve business problems. You’ll be a key contributor on pitch teams and will proactively identify opportunities for creative work to be performed for clients. You’ll drive, define and feedback on everything from the quality of briefs to feedback channels and creative quality.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
  • Working knowledge of industry standard user experience, information architecture and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Axure, Omnigraffle, Marvel App.
  • Expert knowledge of interface design, native mobile app, and web application
  • Experience or ability with CSS, HTML, Javascript is considered a plus. Additional languages include Processing, Python, Ruby and Swift
  • Proven record of creative output
  • Experience of ecommerce related systems
  • Project Management experience
  • Customer journey understanding
  • Proven story telling experience
