Wim Vermeulen boosts innovation at Dentsu Aegis Network Belgium

Dentsu Aegis Network Belgium keeps on boosting its team with the arrival of Wim Vermeulen. 

His arrival marks yet another step in the transformation of the communication group in Belgium.

True to its mission “Innovating the way brands are built", the Group is launching a cross-disciplinary cell focused on strategy and innovation. It wants to makes sure brands don’t miss out on the newest innovative opportunities to connect with their consumers. It also wants to ensure brands get all the services a cross-disciplinary group such as Dentsu Aegis Network has to offer. As Director of Strategy and Innovation, Wim will jointly lead this unit with Didier Ackermans (Dentsu Aegis Network Belgium's Digital Director since 2008).

Wim is well-known in the communication and media world. Between 2001 and 2010 he managed the digital transformation of the Ogilvy Group, first as Managing Director of Ogilvy Interactive Belgium, then as Digital Director for Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia.

He then launched Momads, a company specialized in mobile strategy and development (for Belgium and the UK). In 2012 he became Head of Mobile for the Golden Pages, before taking on the Marketing Director role for the same group in 2014.
