The Role
  • The HR Manager will be responsible for people agenda at Dentsu Aegis Network and its network brands (Carat, isobar and iProspect) in the Egyptian market. Covering the Egypt market the HR Manager will work closely with the HR Director, CEO, MD and the administration team on delivering policies and procedures, cultivating employee engagement, talent acquisition and various other HR projects to create a high performing culture. The successful candidate will be passionate about people management and building winning teams in the Digital economy. They will also have a solid understanding of HR principles and have the desire to develop their career within a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
Reporting to
  • CEO, Cairo, Egypt and the Regional HR Director, United Arab Emirates
Core Responsibilities for this position
  • Support the CEO with day to day people issues and their resolution. This includes problem solving and working closely with line managers and team leads.
  • Work with the HR Director and the Global HR community to effectively roll out group training activities (isobar Academy and Route 500), reward cycles and other group policies.
  • Advise all departments on relevant HR policies & procedures while adhering to the relevant Egyptian Labor Law. Regularly update policies where necessary.
  • Lead local market talent acquisition processes including search, selection, offers, induction and onboarding of new starters.
  • Effectively manage voluntary and involuntary exit procedures in line with best practice and company values
  • Work closely with the finance team on a monthly basis to manage payroll information including benefits.
  • Monitor and track employee attendance and annual ticket records and raise issues where necessary. Monitor and report other HR statistics to identify trends and raise concerns.
  • Support the employee appraisal cycle and implementation of the Horizons appraisal system.
  • Coordinate and track company trainings and qualifications. Work with the HR Director and team leads to develop employee skills & capabilities
  • Lead HR initiatives within Egypt (employee surveys, trainings, etc). Proactively devise creative HR initiatives for team building, employee motivation and engagement.
  • Monitor and organize HR documentation ensuring that records are complete and up to date.
  • Help optimize opportunities to develop and leverage the company employer brand with employee rewards, benefits and CSR.
  • Act as a custodian of the company values with HR and throughout the organization.
  • Keep abreast with current development within the industry, and HR industry development.

The minimum requirements for this position
  • Bachelor degree in HR, Business Administration or similar courses.
  • Passion for HR with at least 4 years' experience
  • Flawless MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills, presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written. Fluency in written and verbal business English (Arabic is favorable).
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, excellent planning and the ability to work independently
  • Enthusiasm and passion in a fast changing environment and business. Should thrive on excitement and entrepreneurial environments.
  • Able to communicate effectively and work with a variety of people within the business.
  • High level of confidentiality and the ability to professionally handle difficult situations.
  • Flexible, adaptable & able to multi-task.
